As an assignment homework, we were ask to play Print and Play games..
The main objective of this assignment was to print out a game that
you as a person would play and observe the game mechanics as well and
try to understand what makes the selected game fun and how does the
reward factor help in attaining you as a player to win the game.

In regards to my selection of the game; I had chosen Zombie in My Pocket. It was published in the year 2007, and was designed by Jeremiah Lee. The background for the player is clearly provided in a neat fordable rule book. The game is meant doe 1- 8 player. The time the game should takes is 20 minutes. However it took us longer to complete the game. The theme of the game is a zombie apocalypse. The rules are simple.; You as a player must find an item called the totem which is located in one of the rooms in your house and bury it in your backyard to bring an end to the zombie apocalypse. You must perform this task within the time limit of 2 hours. The game starts at 9 PM in the evening and you have to achieve the objective by 11 PM. If the players do not achieve the objective by 11 pm then they loose the game. The time is related to the development card deck, which helps the story to progress further and helps the player to find items to increase a players health or attack points. every time the deck needs to be shuffled an hour passes by. and the players must act fast to achieve the goal. Playing as 1 player I found this game to be easy and was able to achieve the objective in 30 minutes. however as soon as I played with other 3 of my friends we had spent about an hour trying to achieve the objective of the game, in addition we also had to increase the time by 3 extra hours to achieve our objective or we all would loose. Overall, I would say that this game was well organized and written however, i would not agree it to be for maximum 8 players. The reward of wining the game was satisfactory, yet there was something missing in this game, perhaps if the time limit was increased from 9 pm to 12am , i believe that would have worked better. Below are few pictures of us playing the game.

The next game we played was brought to us by Zaq, The game he bought to us was called They Who Were 8. Released in 2013, designed by Todd Sanders and was a 4 player game. The theme of this game was was based on gods. As per my understanding of the game this game was a group playing game, where the players sitting opposite to each other were partners. The main objective of this game was, to gain the maximum amount of glory tokens for your team. The team that had most glory tokens won. Each player would get 2 god cards and 2 action cards.a player would use one action card to either take take a glory token from any of the other players or give negative tokens to other players. Glory tokens were equal to 2 points and negative tokens were equal to -1 point. This game took us about an hour to complete even though it was mentioned that it would be take about 20- 6 hours. Given that there were only 4 players, i believe that if his game has to last for 6 hours, the game would have to be maximum 8 players. The positive side of this game was hat the instructions were well writtend and were handy as players could refer them any time. It was a bit slow paced for 4 players but was a good game none the less.
